Thanks to industrial pollution, it is very hard to find clean, potable water these days. Even though the water that goes into your home may have gone through filtration at you locals city or municipal water treatment center, chances are it still won’t be free enough from all sorts of nasty pathogens that could cause all sorts of nasty ailments. Remember that water still has to travel from the treatment center to your home and along the way it may still have the potential to gather pathogens form any leak.
