I have been looking for a new job and have been considering applying to both best buy and circuit city.
I was just wondering what any current or past employees of Circuit City thought of the job.
Any info would be awesome. Thanks.
I know that they laid off all the higher paid people to make room for new hires (or the original ones if they wanted to accept a smaller wage).
Other than that I am wondering how it is working there.

how about reading the news about circuit city instead of asking it here?
I’ve worked at CC for almost a year now and I’ve loved it! My managers have been great and its been easy enough to advance in the store as well as get raises. I guess it all depends on which store you work at tho, since its really the people you work with that make the difference.
That aside I can tell you that about half of the people that work at my store were former BB employees that decided to leave because of how badly they were treated at their prior workplace, we have several sales people and even two managers that came from BB, I don’t know about you but that tells me something…I’m sure which ever you choose you will have great success in so good luck!
