As long as it is within 30 days of the purchase date, there will be no restocking fee. That only applies to laptops.
It would be nice if you did restore it but don’t worry about it being opened or anything. That wont affect your return. Just make sure everything is in there and it looks nice.

Why don’t you call and speak to a manager. tell them you found it cheaper at another place and let them know you want to return it. Since business are desperate to keep your business he may refund you the difference of the sale price just to keep from having to return your money altogether. With the high markups they have on stuff it would make more sense to do that than actually return it and they still make a profit off the sale. However, I believe they are filing bankruptcy too so they might not give a crap one way or the other and just return your money with a restock fee, but I would call the manager first and explain that you found it cheaper and see if he/she will do anything to keep your business.
