My sister and I love to shop. We devote at least one day each week to shopping. Sometimes we shop for a particular item. Other times we just shop, with absolutely nothing in mind at all. Saturday was one of those days that we were shopping just for the sake of shopping. We decided to go into a little store that we had never been in before. It’s hard to believe that there was a store in the mall that we had not been in before, but it’s true. As we entered the store, the smell of vanilla and cinnamon greeted our noses. The salesman told us that we could feel free to sit on any of the furniture. We saw a teak furniture set. I sat on the couch, and my sister sat on a chair. The salesman asked us if we would like a cup of coffee or espresso. We gladly accepted and spent the next twenty minutes relaxing and enjoying our drinks. The salesman was probably disappointed when we left without making a purchase. But I will keep the little store in mind if I ever decide to buy teak… or if I need a cup of coffee.
