I live in NYC and i just got my camcorder from J&R World. I got a dcr-sr300 for 835 dollars including tax and its better than the dcr-sr82 modal, which is older than sr300 that i got from Bestbuy at hte same price. Why is Bestbuy and Circuit city so expensive? Their customer service sucks also! I mean, when I ask them questions, they have to look at the labels and stuff to try to figure out. I also ask this guy the difference between these two camcorders and he said no difference but there was!
Also, Why is that bestbuy and circuit city don’t have certain modals? they have old modals most of the time?

I have found that Best buy has the cheapest prices. I bought my cell phone there, the phone was free, they threw in a few months free add ons, gave me a 50 best buy gift card too.
Also, pretty sure they wil beat any price, so just bring in an advertised price to them.
because type of people shop there don’t spend enough time compare price online. Or simply wanted a old fashion way, get what you see. Some go there like me don’t buy there, just look at the item it self, then compare price. True most item in both of the store is full price no discount most of time unlike online site. Because online don’t had to pay alot for manning compare to retair store had to paid alot of worker and the store to operate.
Because as what ppl consider them as “Major Retailers” they beef up prices because they can, there both household names comapred to like “Joes eloctronics” or some shit
I know! They should change that! Maybe THEN they would grow, and finally become large companies, and get nice buildings and start actually doing some advertising too! They should call you for business advise I think, cause you’re smarter than them.
Seriously, if you don’t like them, don’t shop there. Those stores have a lot of wiggle room, and almost always price match. What’s the problem?
well if you go to circuit city.com. it says see price in sales cart. click on that and print it out. then bring the paper there and you’ll get the thing you want for the price that you saw in the sales cart.
